As national registration shifts are analyzed, signs of Democratic erosion in Woodbridge
Local party enrollment data from the Secretary of the State show that unaffiliated voters outnumber Democrats and Republicans across all three Amity towns. In Woodbridge, Democratic rolls have declined more steeply than either Republican or unaffiliated enrollment since 2022, mirroring national trends where voter affiliation is in flux.

Although Governor Lamont vetoed House Bill 5002, which would have set a “fair share” target of 332 affordable housing units for Woodbridge, legislative leaders expect the issue to return this fall. Woodbridge Solar Showcase happening September 20
Mark your calendar: the Woodbridge Solar Showcase will take place at the Town Library from 1–4:30 PM on Saturday, September 20. The event will feature a solar documentary, presentations, hands-on art activities, and a poetry picnic. Part of the global “Sun Day” celebration, it’s a chance to connect local progress with a broader movement for renewable energy.
