This Week in Woodbridge
September 15, 2025 weekly subscriber update from the Woodbridge Town Chronicle

One of the joys of living in a small town is that ideas travel quickly. That can be messy at times, but it’s also what keeps our democracy vibrant. As always, transparency is the antidote to confusion — we don’t strengthen trust by hiding information, but by putting it out where everyone can see it, weigh it, and decide for themselves.
That’s really the spirit behind this weekly recap and the Woodbridge Town Chronicle. Some old-timers who remember the early 2000s (back when the internet was just picking up steam) might recall the concept of disintermediation — a fancy word for cutting out the middlemen so people can get their information directly, without the filter of the establishment or corporate publishers. Today, as technology has accelerated, no matter what new labels pop up to describe it, we’re connected and plugged in enough to know there’s no need to wait for traditional gatekeepers. You can find out for yourself what’s happening by subscribing to This Week in Woodbridge.
If you find this effort useful, the best way you can help is to spread the word. Share the link Woodbridge.Town with your friends, family, and neighbors. Forward this newsletter. Invite someone new to subscribe — or even to submit a guest column for our Community Voices section. Together, we can keep Woodbridge informed, connected, and engaged.
Below are this week’s highlights.
