This Week in Woodbridge

December 1, 2025 weekly subscriber update from the Woodbridge Town Chronicle

This Week in Woodbridge

While many of us are easing from Thanksgiving into the winter holidays, the flip of the calendar page this morning also marks the start of an equally important season in local government: the season of appointments.

With newly elected officials preparing to take their seats in January, boards and commissions across town will also begin to be reshaped by the biennial process of renewing appointments to serve in these volunteer roles. As the Selectmen-elect fill expiring terms and vacancies, priorities are reset and the groundwork is laid for decisions that will shape the coming year.

At the Woodbridge Town Chronicle this week, we range from covering appointments and land-use decisions to highlighting a holiday open house that celebrates our town’s history. These stories speak to the full rhythm of civic life in Woodbridge: serious work, social gatherings, and the enduring sense of place that connects the two. Keeping you informed — your town, your news, straight to your inbox each Monday.
