Meet the Candidates Night Scheduled for October 16
League of Women Voters of Amity to provide opportunity for the public to meet and talk to candidates
The League of Women Voters of Amity has announced it will host a Meet the Candidates Night on Thursday, October 16, at 7:00 p.m. at Amity High School.
All candidates for office in the November municipal election, in all three towns, have been invited to participate. The evening is designed as an introduction rather than a debate: each candidate for First Selectman will have an opportunity to present themselves, highlight the team they are running with, and invite attendees to speak with them during the event. After the introductions, each team will have an assigned table in the cafeteria where voters can mingle and talk. Candidates who cannot attend will still be acknowledged.
The event will provide voters with a chance to learn more about the individuals seeking to serve Woodbridge, Bethany, Orange, and the Amity school district.
