Final Day of Voting Dawns Tomorrow in Woodbridge

The final day of voting in Woodbridge will dawn tomorrow, November 4, at 6:00 AM and voting will conclude at 8:00 PM with the closing of the polls at the Center Building gym, 4 Meetinghouse Lane. Early in-person voting ended Sunday, November 2, after running for 14 days. This is the first municipal election in Woodbridge to offer early in-person voting.

Early and Absentee Voting Stats

According to the ‘Who Voted’ report issued today by the Woodbridge Registrars’ Office, a total of 1,563 Woodbridge voters have already cast ballots — including 1,459 early votes and 104 absentee ballots. That represents 25% of the town’s 6,251 eligible voters, or about 47% of the total turnout from the 2023 municipal election.

Turnout So Far By Party Affiliation

Early and absentee participation as of Monday, November 3, stands at 32% among registered Democrats, 20% among Republicans, and 21% among unaffiliated voters. Roughly a dozen voters registered with minor parties have also cast ballots.

Final Day to Cast Ballots Is Tuesday, November 4

Voters who have not yet cast their ballot can still prepare by reviewing candidate information in the League of Women Voters’ nonpartisan guide at Vote411.org/ballot.

For Election Day the polls will be open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 4, and results are expected to be announced at the Center Building soon after polls close.
