Community Standards & Commenting Guidelines

The Woodbridge Town Chronicle is committed to fostering respectful, informed conversation about the issues that matter to our town.

💬 Commenting Guidelines

Comments are currently open to approved subscribers only. If you’d like to join the conversation, please keep in mind:

  • Be respectful. Disagreement is welcome — personal attacks are not. At the end of the day, we are neighbors.
  • Be constructive. Focus on the substance of the issue or idea.
  • Stay on-topic. Keep comments relevant to the post.

(Have an idea for a separate issue you'd like to see covered? Please email or message me directly in Substack.)

As editor, I reserve the right to remove comments that are abusive, misleading, spammy, or off-topic. Violations may result in revocation of commenting privileges.

🧭 Community Standards

Local news should be a space where thoughtful voices can be heard — even when we disagree. These guidelines are here to ensure that this platform remains a welcoming and civic-minded environment for all readers.

Thanks for being part of the conversation.
