Candidate information available on Vote411.org
The League of Women Voters of the Amity (LWV-A) invites voters to learn more about local candidates through the nonpartisan voter guide online at Vote411.org/ballot. By entering your address, you can see the offices and all candidates on your ballot as well as additional information for some of the candidates.
For the Woodbridge ballot, candidates for First Selectman, Board of Selectmen, Woodbridge Board of Education, and Amity Board of Education were invited to participate by answering questions posed in the League’s online voter guide. All candidates were asked to begin with a brief biography (no more than 400 characters) and then respond to additional questions specific to the office they are seeking.

First Selectman
- What are your top priorities in leading the town through the next two years? How would you address those priorities? (750 characters)
- Is there a logical, reasonable compromise between preservation of open space and provision of affordable housing in town? (750 characters)
Board of Selectmen
- Is there any feasible middle ground between preservation of open space and provision of affordable housing? (750 characters)
- Do you think the town provides enough transparency to the public in how decisions are made? (750 characters)
